ReWild Transition System
From signed deal to clean handoff in 90 days (or less).
Make Your First 90 Days After the Sale Decisively Boring
You’ve built something valuable. Now you want the deal to close cleanly, the price to hold, and the business to stay stable after you step away.
The ReWild Transition System™ is a proven 90-day operating onramp that turns your tribal knowledge into documented assets, clarifies roles and structure for the new owner, and gives the buyer a stable, cash-flow-focused foundation. The result is higher close probability, less renegotiation, and a cleaner exit for you.
Post-Close Uncertainty Is Costing Sellers Money and Certainty
Buyers and lenders know the first 90 days after closing is when operational risk surfaces. When that risk feels high, three things happen:
Deals take longer to close
Price pressure and retrades increase
Contingent payments (seller notes and earn-outs) become less secure
Most sellers end up more involved after closing than they planned—or watch value erode because the handoff was incomplete.
The ReWild Transition System removes a major source of that uncertainty. It makes the transition predictable and documented so buyers move forward with confidence and you can step away cleanly.
ReWild Transition System: First 90 Days
We install the fundamentals that protect deal value and enable a clean handoff:
Documented key processes
Clear organizational structure and role clarity
Business model and values alignment
Meeting cadences and early risk detection
A growth roadmap aligned to the Stages of Growth
The engagement ends with a Transition Readiness Certificate (Day 90) that documents what was transferred, risks that were mitigated, and priorities for the next phase. Buyers and lenders see clear evidence the transition has been de-risked.
What You Gain
Higher close probability — Buyers and lenders see a structured path to stability, which reduces hesitation and last-minute friction.
Stronger price support — Documented knowledge transfer and operational clarity reduce the reasons buyers use to chip the price.
Protection for contingent payments — A more stable post-close business is better insurance for any seller note or earn-out.
Team continuity — Clear roles and documented processes help key employees stay engaged through the ownership change.
Reduced post-sale involvement — A thorough knowledge transfer means you spend less time answering questions after closing so you can transition to the next season of your life.
A cleaner legacy — You leave the business in better shape than a typical handoff, with systems the new owner can actually run.
Who It's For
Primary: Owners of SMBs with roughly $2M–$20M in annual revenue (typically 10–100 employees) who are preparing for or in the process of a sale.
Especially valuable when:
The buyer is a first-time owner or new to the industry
There is seller financing or an earn-out
You want a defined, time-bound transition rather than an open-ended consulting arrangement
You want the business to remain stable and the team to stay intact after you leave
Investment Details
We keep the pricing simple and straightforward.
Up to 50 employees: $35,000
51-100 employees: $50,000
Payment Terms: Engagement Kickoff (50%), Week 5 (25%), Week 10 (25%)
Flexible funding is common. Many deals use a seller credit at close, a shared arrangement between buyer and seller, or a lender contribution. We provide simple template language to support whatever structure fits the transaction.
Results Speak Loudly
“The ReWild Transition System was critical to helping me extract the seller’s knowledge during the first 90 days. The first week after closing, I felt overwhelmed by everything I didn’t know being totally new to the industry.
It was amazing to see how the key processes were documented in practical ways for me and my new team... By day 90, I felt confident wishing the sellers well as they headed into their next chapter.”
