Matthew Pohl, Founder and CEO, The ReWild Group

Matthew Pohl

Matthew Pohl leads the ReWild Transition System as the primary Transition Specialist. He brings direct experience from guiding Commercial Welding LLC through its post-acquisition transition in 2021, where the buyer scaled from under $1M to a $4M run rate in two years.

As founder of The ReWild Group, Matthew has spent over a decade helping SMB owners implement the Organizational ReWilding Stages of Growth framework. He previously built, scaled, and sold a professional services business, giving him firsthand insight into both buyer and seller perspectives in acquisitions.

Key Experience 

  • Led the Commercial Welding transition: captured seller knowledge, documented processes, clarified roles, and aligned operations to Stage 1–2 rules. 

  • Built and sold his own Stage 2–3 business, applying the same principles that now form the Transition System. 

  • Developed content and tools used by CORA advisers supporting hundreds of SMBs. 

  • Holds degrees in Business Administration (University of Denver) and Information Systems/Quality Management (University of Colorado Denver). 

Matthew works directly with buyers, sellers, and advisers to install documented processes, role clarity, and growth alignment in the first 90 days. His approach ensures preserved cash flow, reduced retrades, and a stable platform for sustainable scaling.
