-
According to Gallup, there are four key elements that make a management training program effective. The EMP has all four characteristics: 1) it takes place over an extended period of time, 2) it uses multiple learning techniques, 3) learning is applied directly to the workplace, and 4) both leadership and management are included in the training.
-
The EMP is a 12-month, hands-on training initiative designed to develop a team of managers by combining online content with interactive, in-person activities. It focuses on four key areas—managing the Self, Staff, Work, and Workplace—using the Management Wheel framework, and introduces seven practical management tools (e.g., functional org charts, KPI flash sheets) while fostering an "Ownership Thinking" mindset.
-
The EMP aims to transform managers into skilled leaders who think like owners, reducing the business’s dependency on the owner. Participants report improved communication, higher productivity, better employee retention, and a stronger, more unified management team capable of handling day-to-day operations, freeing the owner to focus on growth or personal priorities.
-
The EMP is designed for the entire management team—from owners and CEOs to mid-level managers. Including everyone ensures a shared language and understanding, which strengthens team cohesion and aligns efforts across the organization.
-
The program spans 12 months, with participants applying skills between sessions. It uses the ReWild Learning System, blending online videos for foundational learning with in-person sessions for practical application. Depending on the size of the management team, monthly classes are scheduled for 3-5 hours. The videos watched prior to the class are typically less than 30 minutes in length.
-
Unlike traditional training that might focus solely on skills, the EMP integrates comprehensive team development with hands-on business advancement. It’s built on adult learning theory, emphasizes Ownership Thinking, and is tailored to small and mid-sized businesses, setting it apart from traditional management training.
-
Clients have noted deeper team communication, reduced turnover, and increased ownership mentality among managers. For example, one owner reported his leadership team began discussing business topics they’d never tackled before, while another saw how setting clear expectations can improve staff productivity and retention. Investing in your existing managers creates higher retention for this critical layer of the organization.
-
Pricing varies based on a company’s Stage of Growth, which in turn impacts the management team size (see Pricing). A business will achieve a one-year payback on the program with 2-3% increase in productivity in their management team and staff. Since participant surveys demonstrate a 20% average improvement as a manager from the program, participants routinely have paid for the program before it has even been completed. Of course, your management team’s growth continues to deliver financial benefits for years afterwards.
-
The ReWild Learning System—combining video content, hands-on activities during monthly sessions, and real-life application between sessions—ensures that the principles will be applied. Participants learn powerful principles that become “common sense” once learned, regardless of educational background or industry.
-
The EMP addresses common issues—e.g., poor staff training or destabilizing chaos—through tools like KPIs and functional org charts, and by building a proactive, accountable management culture. It’s designed to tackle root causes, not just symptoms.

The process begins with an appointment with a ReWild Group representative to learn about your business and answer any questions. If you choose to proceed, a certified Adviser is selected as the instructor. This individual will work with you to finalize logistics and deliver the program.
